Press and hold the button for 10 to 15 seconds;

Wait until the status LED flashes amber and then white.

How to remove the AirPods from your smartphone

You need to remove the connection between both devices.

Here's the step-by-step.

Grab your smartphone;

Go to "Settings" > "Bluetooh";

Look for your AirPods;

Click the blue-circled "i";

On the next page, click on "forget device".

And it's done.

How to remove the AirPods from the Apple ID

You can use a computer (PC or MAC) to remove the Apple ID associated with your AirPods. The process is simple; you just need to delete the association.
