How to factory reset a Reolink camera
Make sure you have a PoE switch and a UTP patch cord (network cable).
The PoE switch is used to power the camera, but you can also use a regular power supply if you have a non-PoE switch. Either way you also need a connection to the router to allow the camera to receive a new IP during the setup (after the reset).
Here's the step-by-step to reset the camera.
- Press and hold the reset button;
- Connect the camera to power;
- Keep holding the button for 10 seconds;
- Release the button.
And it's done.
After releasing the button, the camera is reset to factory default.
Now you can use your mobile phone to scan the camera's QR code.
Just follow the steps on your phone to get the camera up and running again.
