In this article, I show how to reset the Reolink Argus 3 camera.
The process is straightforward and takes just a few seconds. After the reset, the camera returns to the factory default state, and you can start the setup all over again.
How to reset the camera
Make sure you have the reset needle that comes with the Kit or use a paper clip.
- Get the reset needle that comes with the camera;
- Look for the reset hole on the bottom of the camera;
- Insert the needle into the hole, press, and hole the reset button;
- Wait for until you hear a "beep sound";
- Release the reset button.
This process usually takes 3 to 5 seconds, and the camera will be ready for the new setup after you hear the beep sound that looks like a sonar.
Setup the camera
After resetting the camera, follow the normal setup process.
Open the Reolink App and follow the step-by-step instructions.
You just need to point the mobile phone to the camera QR code to get started.
