Let's see how to reset the Reolink Argus PT under 2 minutes!
This procedure is useful if can't login to the camera because you don't remember the password or if you sold the camera and need to reset it to factory default.
The steps to reset the camera
You gonna need a reset needle that comes with the camera.
If you don't have it anymore, grab a paper clip and follow the steps below:
- Turn the camera ON;
- Move the camera lens to "look" up;
- Remove the micro SD card cover;
- Find the reset hole on the left side;
- Insert the needle into the hole;
- Press the reset button and hold it;
- Wait until you hear the reset message;
- Release the reset button.
While pressing the button, you may hear a message:
"Factory default succeded, please release the reset button".
After releasing the button you may hear a second message:
"Camera has started up, please run Reolink App, add the camera and set it up".
And it's finished, now you can use the Reolink app to add the camera again.
